Job Title: Emergency Response Coordinator

  • Develop, implement and coordinate sustainable systems to manage emergency response capability and associated activities effectively.
  • Conduct audits and rectify existing and new installations to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in accordance with safety standards.
  • Organise emergency response training and exercises.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to integrate relevant emergency services standards.

About You:

  • You will be adaptable, self-driven and think critically.
  • Have a Certificate IV in Underground Coal Mining (3rd Class Deputies Ticket) (desirable).
  • Understand the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act 1999 & Regulation 2017 and applicable Australian Standards.
  • Commit to a high performing safety culture.
  • Have experience in a similar role in an underground mining environment.
