About Our Role

We are seeking individuals to fill positions as Care Specialists in therapeutic homes. These settings cater to children and young people who have experienced complex trauma, abuse, and neglect.

Care Specialists work closely with the team to provide care and support to these young individuals, helping them heal and rebuild their lives within a safe and nurturing environment.

The selected candidates will be responsible for providing a positive and caring atmosphere, building professional relationships with the children/young people, and implementing effective safety measures through Behaviour Support Plans and Individual Crisis Management Plans.

They will also engage young people in purposeful activities aimed at developing life skills and self-worth, assist them in achieving their goals, and promote independent living skills.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, experience working with young people with complex trauma, and the ability to develop case plans/safety plans/behaviour support plans, case noting, and report writing.
