NDIS Speech Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to join our Disability Services unit.

The primary role of the NDIS Speech Pathologist is to provide culturally appropriate adult and/or paediatric Speech Pathology services to participants of the NDIS, as directed to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community as a member of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop both Adult and Paediatric skills by maintaining a diverse caseload across the lifespan.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide Speech Pathology services to NDIS participants in Southeast Queensland.
  • Work collaboratively with an interprofessional team of healthcare professionals to provide client-centred care.
  • Develop and maintain a diverse caseload across the lifespan.
  • Contribute to continuing innovative health service development.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Certificate of Current Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Relevant degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
  • Valid Disability Worker Screening Check (QLD Yellow Card) – Required prior to commencement.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (QLD Blue Card) – Required prior to commencement.
