We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our Work Integrated Learning team as a key coordinator.
The WIL Coordinator role involves building strong relationships with students and host organisations to facilitate placement opportunities for course completion, aligning with organisational goals and objectives.
Our national network of host organisations supports the work integrated learning program, providing valuable opportunities for students in their field of study.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring timely delivery of WIL programs, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
- Reviewing and assessing student suitability for WIL opportunities, taking into account relevant skills and qualifications.
- Matching students with host organisations based on criteria and requirements, ensuring a smooth and effective placement process.
- Sourcing new host organisations and maintaining existing relationships, fostering a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership.
Essential Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in tertiary education, with a strong understanding of industry trends and developments.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including students, academics and industry partners.
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and student records software, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
