Foster Care Specialist

Our organisation delivers high-quality care to support children and young people in foster care, helping them heal from trauma and thrive. Our program is designed to ensure that each child receives specialised care to overcome their past experiences and achieve their full potential.
As a Therapeutic Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people in foster care, including facilitating transitions, coordinating caregiver matches, and ensuring best-practice care. You will work closely with foster carers, families, and a network of professionals to provide safe environments for children and young people and protect them from abuse and neglect.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Post-secondary qualifications in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or relevant qualification (if Diploma level, willing to study further)
- Current Victorian drivers licence
- Current CPR and First Aid certificate
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with adults, adolescents, children and sector representatives
