About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in coordinating personal care for residents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver effective clinical and emotional support. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality, person-centered care to residents, including consideration for cultural, spiritual, and individual needs
  • Delivering personal care to residents with complex needs, such as palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management
  • Supporting nursing staff with assessment, care planning, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes
  • Monitoring the cleanliness, safety, and environment, and reporting any issues of concern
About You

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who shares our values and is committed to delivering exceptional care. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent (Aged Care)
  • Experience in residential aged care or home care (desired)
  • Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired)
  • Demonstrated ability to support residents in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills in a team and one-on-one interactions
Essentials for Working in Aged Care

To work in aged care, you will need:

  • A current Working With Children Check card
  • Current and ongoing flu vaccinations
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance
