Job Title: Learning and Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to contribute to the success of our construction teams. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating onboarding, induction, and technical training for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with construction managers, human resources, and talent acquisition to onboard new starters and ensure their success.
  2. Partner with stakeholders to plan relevant, timely, and effective induction training.
  3. Analyze critical skill gaps within our construction and operations teams.
  4. Manage structured inductions, including acknowledgement of policies and procedures.
  5. Deliver engaging training using a blended approach of virtual, online, and in-person sessions.
  6. Oversee employees completing cadetship, traineeship, and graduate programs.
  7. Mentor and coach early career talent to map effective career plans.
  8. Identify opportunities to improve technical training programs and construction team onboarding experiences.

Requirements:

  1. Experience delivering technical construction and safety training.
  2. Cert IV in Training and Assessment.
  3. Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills.
  4. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to engage positively with people at all levels.
  6. Strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures.
  7. Willingness to learn new technology and work with a diverse team.
  8. Driver's license.
