Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our retail development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to oversee the entire lifecycle of new build retail construction projects from initial design to final handover.

  • Leads and manages new build, greenfield retail construction projects
  • Develops and executes project plans, including scope, timelines, and cost governance
  • Oversight of procurement, supplier management, and subcontractor performance
  • Ensures compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards
  • Conducts site inspections and manages site handovers Interstate travel required)
  • Identifies risks, resolves issues, and drives value engineering initiatives
  • Collaborates with internal teams, landlords, contractors, and global headquarters
  • Continuously improves processes, sharing learnings for future projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • To develop and implement effective project management strategies
  • To manage cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
  • To identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring business continuity
  • To maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in retail construction project management
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
