Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Clinical Governance Framework: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing the Clinical Governance Framework to ensure high-quality clinical service delivery.
  • Lead Health Service Development: The Headspace Centre Manager will lead the development of an integrated model of clinic-based health service delivery to achieve improved outcomes for clients of headspace Murray Bridge and Victor Harbor.

  • Manage Program Budgets: The successful candidate will manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and that programs operate within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure Compliance: The Headspace Centre Manager will ensure that all services meet statutory and contractual obligations.
  • Promote a Safe Work Environment: The position will promote a safe work environment by implementing and monitoring WHS policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance Activities: The successful candidate will participate in quality assurance activities, including the development of strategic plans, internal evaluations, and compliance with national standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: The successful candidate will have proven experience leading clinics and clinicians across both public and private health settings.
  • Strong Knowledge: The Headspace Centre Manager will have strong knowledge of mental health diagnostic and classification systems.
  • Qualifications: Qualifications in business or health management are viewed favourably.
  • Leadership and Management Abilities: The successful candidate will have demonstrated leadership and management abilities with a track record of success.
  • Conflict Resolution and Collaboration: The Headspace Centre Manager will be skilled in resolving conflicts and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
  • Relationship Building: The position will have experienced in building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • System Implementation and Improvement: The successful candidate will have experienced in implementing efficient systems and procedures to improve performance.
  • Self-Motivation and Communication Skills: The Headspace Centre Manager will be highly self-motivated with a dynamic personality, able to lead health service development autonomously.
  • Technical Skills: The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
