Experienced Early Childhood Educator Wanted

Central Coast Council is seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team of passionate professionals. As a Child Care Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and care programs for children aged six weeks to five years.
Key Responsibilities- Become a valuable member of our team and assist in the delivery of quality education and care programs in accordance with National Quality Framework and Council policies.
- Offer innovative ideas to keep our activities fresh and relevant.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and carers to create a welcoming and connected community.
- Take a responsible and professional approach to the supervision of children and their overall wellbeing.
- Complete relevant documentation and administration associated with the position.
- Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education combined with ongoing professional development.
- Provisional or Proficient Teacher Accreditation.
- Current Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk Accreditation.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Demonstrated experience working in a long day care centre with children between the ages of six weeks and five years, and knowledge of early childhood practices and legislation.
- Strong leadership skills, including a high level of organisational skill, commitment to quality customer service, and ability to respect diversity.
- Working knowledge of legislative requirements relating to Early Childhood Education and Care and Child Protection.
- Ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, families, and other stakeholders, including the ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Ability to be flexible with working hours within core Centre operating times due to legislative staffing ratios.
