Early Childhood Educator - Casual Position

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team of experienced professionals at Central Coast Childcare Centres. As a Casual Educator, you will have the opportunity to work with children aged six weeks to five years, providing high-quality education and care in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the delivery of quality education and care programs in accordance with the National Quality Framework and Central Coast Council's policies and procedures.
  • Interact positively with children to facilitate their learning experiences and promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Supervise children to ensure their health, safety, and well-being is maintained at all times.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement customized educational programs that meet the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) learning outcomes and individual children's needs and interests.
  • Complete relevant documentation and administration associated with the position.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Previous experience working in a long day care centre with children aged six weeks to five years.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the National Quality Framework and knowledge of early childhood practices.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with staff, children, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours within core Centre operating times due to legislative staffing ratios.
