About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Workshop Supervisor/Machinist to join our team.
The successful candidate will possess a strong mechanical mindset, with a trade qualification being desirable. They will also have excellent verbal communication skills and be able to read technical and engineering/tool drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Skilled in mechanics and good problem-solving skills
- Able to work with technical drawings and designs
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Firm understanding of Autocad and Solidworks
Work Environment
This is a full-time, permanent position working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
Job Requirements
- A trade qualification (Qualified toolmaker) or equivalent experience
- Ability to read technical and engineering/tool drawings
- Firm understanding of Autocad and Solidworks
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Good time management and organisational skills
