Job Overview

The role of the Assistant Facilities Manager is to oversee day-to-day client activities for assigned properties, serving as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities include managing site operations, accounting, finance, maintenance, contract services, purchasing, reviewing service reports, and processing payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to ensure on-site expectations are met.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders to meet client needs.
  • Manage people and procurement teams.
  • Oversee contracts and vendors to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Monitor financial operations to meet targets and control requirements.
  • Ensure site safety and risk management.
  • Minimize risk to clients.

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of property and fixed assets.
  • Ability to handle multiple issues concurrently under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in facilities, property management, hospitality, or related fields.
  • Understanding of basic technical aspects of property and relevant standards.
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Basic knowledge of vendor management for specialized services.
  • Australian citizenship.
