Job Title: Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Operations Manager to lead our on-road traffic teams and drive safe, effective traffic management services.

Your Impact as a Site Operations Manager:

You will take the lead on the ground, ensuring our teams deliver safe, compliant and efficient traffic management services. Working closely with the Operations Manager and field crews, you will play a key role in operational excellence, team development and client satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support traffic controllers across multiple sites
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through leadership, coaching and mentoring
  • Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and audits to ensure compliance
  • Provide guidance on traffic control plans, procedures and safe work practices
  • Respond to incidents, lead investigations and manage reporting
  • Support training and development of field staff
  • Liaise with clients to resolve issues and build strong working relationships
  • Manage fleet, equipment and compliance checks
  • Conduct drug and alcohol testing in line with company policy
  • Assist with return-to-work programs and injury management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience in traffic control, civil or similar field-based industries
  • Has strong people leadership and/or training experience
  • Is focused on health, safety and operational excellence
  • Can juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Has solid computer skills and can learn new systems quickly
  • Has a customer-first mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Relevant traffic control and WHS qualifications preferred
