Melbourne, Victoria, Australia beBeeCareer Full time $100,000 - $120,000
Senior P&C Advisor Role

This is a senior-level HR position where you will be responsible for providing strategic HR advice to business leaders and teams across the organization. As an experienced HR professional, you will have a proven track record of delivering best-practice HR solutions and partnering with stakeholders to drive business results.

About the Role

The Senior P&C Advisor will work closely with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives. You will take the lead on recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and other HR initiatives that are critical to the success of the business.

This is a true end-to-end generalist role involving coaching, operational execution, and a seat at the table on key HR projects. You will make an impact from day one while helping shape the future of our HR function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary HR advisor to assigned practice areas; develop trusted relationships with leaders and teams
  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding across multiple service lines
  • Oversee and administer end-to-end performance and development processes
  • Provide timely and practical advice on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace matters
  • Own HR administration and ensure accurate data management in the HRIS system (e.g. contracts, changes, compliance)
  • Support and coach leaders through change, performance improvement, and team development conversations
  • Lead or contribute to HR projects such as employee engagement, EVP, DE&I, graduate programs, and wellbeing initiatives
  • Prepare HR reporting, data insights, and dashboards to support business and team decisions
  • Work closely with the HR team to evolve our people practices and support a high-performance, values-aligned culture

Requirements

You're an experienced HR professional who brings both strategy and structure. You're confident working autonomously, but also love collaborating with others and being part of a team. You understand the dynamics of professional services or corporate environments and know how to add value as a business partner.

You're passionate about getting the fundamentals right—while keeping an eye on the bigger picture. You can balance multiple priorities with calmness and clarity, and people trust your guidance because you lead with both competence and care.

What you'll bring:

  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
  • 5+ years' experience in HR generalist or advisory roles, ideally in professional or financial services
  • Working knowledge of Australian employment law and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated experience managing recruitment, performance, and ER matters
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholders
  • Good judgment, confidentiality, and a grounded, professional demeanour
  • Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. Employment Hero, ELMO, or similar) desirable

Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a results-driven mindset

We Offer
  • Hybrid work environment with flexible hours
  • Generous leave benefits including purchased leave and paid parental leave
  • Supportive, down-to-earth team culture that fosters wellbeing and collaboration
  • Ongoing learning and professional development opportunities
  • The chance to help shape our HR function during a period of change
