We are seeking a talented and visionary Nurse Manager to lead our Perioperative Services team.

">Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled leader to take on a key leadership role within our Operating Suite Services. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight of the Operating Suite, Endoscopy Suite, and Central Sterilising Services Department.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality care, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and excellence among your team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing high-performing teams to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
  • Championing a culture of continuous quality improvement aligned with Cabrini's goals
  • Ensuring effective resource management and service delivery
  • Promoting clear communication, professional growth, and a positive work environment
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to meet both clinical and business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum 3 years' management experience in a perioperative setting
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in nursing and health management
  • Strong knowledge of ACORN standards and competencies, Commonwealth/State healthcare legislation and accreditation requirements, clinical governance, continuous improvement, and evidence-based practice
  • Proven leadership and change management capabilities
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic clinical systems
