Job Title: Assistant Director, Procurement and Contract Management

The role of Assistant Director, Procurement Governance and Compliance is a key position within the Australian Trade and Investment Commission team. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Procurement department.

About the Role:

  • Lead a small team with strong leadership and organisational skills by identifying and coordinating career development opportunities, and providing ongoing coaching and mentoring for team members.
  • Manage the Business Partner team to provide high levels of support and assistance in all areas of procurement and contract management domestically and globally.
  • Influence procurement strategy and strategic alignment initiatives relating to procurement and contract management to ensure they meet Government objectives.
  • Provide contract management governance and compliance support through provision of contract management planning advice, reviewing of procurement and contract management documents to inform continuous improvement activities, and leading stakeholder engagement for procurement and contract management.
