Job Description

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead the development and implementation of strategic procurement policies, frameworks and systems for a major government department.

  • This role will involve managing complex tenders, contracts and high-value negotiations, as well as providing expert procurement advice to executive leaders and stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate will drive value for money outcomes while ensuring compliance with NSW Government procurement policies, and support innovative and efficient sourcing strategies to meet evolving business needs.
About You
  • To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end procurement functions in a complex environment, including contract management and risk mitigation skills.
  • You will also need strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities, as well as eligibility for membership with the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent.
