Event Manager Role

The ideal candidate will cultivate a robust relationship between our dedicated onsite team and venue management, ensuring the efficient and safe running of event staging services within the venues.

  • Evaluate and optimize the coordination of event teams to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and venue staff to ensure successful client relations and smooth event operations.
  • Provide expert advice on audio-visual equipment, digital options, and crew deployment to meet clients' needs and budget.
  • Develop and disseminate crew rosters and schedules to ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvements within venue operations.
  • Prioritize employee development and mentorship to enhance individual and team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and safe event staging services within venues.
  • Maintain effective client relations and smooth event operations.
  • Advise clients on optimal audio-visual equipment and crew deployment.
  • Rostering and scheduling of event teams.
  • Equipment maintenance and inventory control.
  • Timely issue resolution for any venue or client concerns.
  • Revenue growth opportunities within venue operations.
  • Operational improvement initiatives.
  • Employee development and mentorship.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in events or sales environment.
  • Relevant experience in AV.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, time management & account management skills.
  • Strong sales and business acumen, track record in managing a high-performing sales team within a third-party venue.
  • Ability to foster meaningful business relationships.
  • Prior experience in rostering and cost management.
  • Qualification in Hospitality or Events is highly regarded.
