About this role

We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Administrator to fill a critical position in our organisation. The successful candidate will play a key role in the administration, support, and optimisation of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in ERP system administration (ideally Civica Authority or similar platforms such as TechnologyOne).
  • Strong knowledge of database management (SQL Server), application patching, upgrades, and system monitoring.
  • Experience with cloud environments, particularly SaaS-based ERP solutions.
  • Solid understanding of integration platforms, system security, and user access management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage incidents and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with ERP technologies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

On a daily basis, this role will involve:

  • Managing the administration, configuration, and monitoring of the ERP system (Authority) and preparing for the Altitude migration.
  • Applying patches, upgrades, and fixes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Maintaining system performance, security, and compliance, including user access and audit controls.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for ERP-related incidents and issues.
  • Working with vendors, business stakeholders, and the Digital Technology team to deliver system enhancements and improvements.
  • Maintaining up-to-date system documentation, technical guides, and process records.
  • Supporting testing and change management activities associated with ERP projects.
