We are seeking a skilled professional to lead key initiatives that enhance our information governance maturity. This is a short-term opportunity with the potential to extend, ideal for someone ready to hit the ground running.

About the Role:

  • Lead and deliver projects to strengthen data management practices.
  • Maintain and enhance the Information Asset Register.
  • Provide expert advice on data keeping requirements.
  • Clarify roles and responsibilities for data governance across the organisation.
  • Review and update data security protocols.
  • Manage sentencing and disposal of data in accordance with legislation.
  • Maintain system access controls and ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
  • Develop training and communication materials to build staff capability.
  • Draft briefs, procurement documents, and policies related to data and information management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and/or qualifications in data management and records keeping.
  • Proficiency in TRIM / Content Manager.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship.
  • Current Baseline Security Clearance.
