
Injury Management Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Claims Specialist.
The primary objective of this position is to provide exceptional support to both workers and employers throughout the claims process, ensuring timely access to necessary services that facilitate a safe return to work and aid in injury recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and provide assistance to our business unit in relation to data quality, claims remediation activities, and support resources during claims migration.
- Complete daily assessments and authorizations of payments.
- Manage telephone inquiries in accordance with our guidelines and standards.
- Provide accurate and comprehensive information regarding claim options, entitlements, obligations, and responsibilities.
- Offer workers compensation advice to stakeholders, including workers, employers, and providers.
- Conduct ongoing entitlement reviews for weekly payments and medical expenses.
- Ensure case management aligns with legislation and compliance guidelines.
- Proactively implement effective case management strategies to achieve optimal outcomes, prioritizing early sustainable return to work for injured workers while minimizing claim costs.
- Identify and contribute to opportunities for continuous improvement within processes and practices.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative capacity or back-of-house business support function.
