Rehabilitation Expert for Workplace Injuries

The role of a Rehabilitation Consultant is to conduct assessments and case manage clients who have sustained a workplace injury within the NSW Workers Compensation scheme.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing professional advice, and working closely with stakeholders to achieve return to health and work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments, including worksite evaluations and functional capacity assessments
  • Developing and implementing effective return to work plans
  • Providing expert advice on rehabilitation strategies
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, including employment services divisions
  • Preparing high-quality written reports

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Occupational Therapy (with relevant registration and membership)
  • Proven experience in occupational rehabilitation
  • Recent experience with NSW Workers Compensation cases
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
