At Smart Talent Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you'll play a critical role in accrediting systems and data by independently assessing security postures, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation measures.

Cyber Security Consultant Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive security threat and risk assessments to identify potential security threats and risks.
  • Develop security accreditation artefacts to address identified risks and ensure adherence to Australian Government security standards.
  • Perform IRAP assessments for proposed ICT designs and solutions, particularly within the Digital Identity system.
  • Manage and develop complex relationships with stakeholders, communicating security concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure robust security practices.
Cyber Security Consultant Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in ICT system accreditation.
  • Strong leadership experience and skills in managing security-related tasks and projects.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated security experience in complex ICT environments.
  • In-depth understanding of the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), and other Australian Government security guidance and advice.
