Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational effectiveness by leading the Executive team and ensuring seamless day-to-day business operations.">
  • Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Laboratory Director to deliver coordinated genetic pathology services.">
  • Champion improvement projects that enhance customer value, service efficacy, and financial returns.">
  • Report performance to the Boards, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.">
  • Oversee the budget, proactively maximizing revenue opportunities and managing financial sustainability.">
  • Contribute to the development of a strategic plan, implementing commercial strategies for growth and revenue optimization.">
  • Foster strong relationships with government bodies, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring continued success.">
  • Support staff development, nurture a positive culture, and identify growth opportunities to drive research translation.">

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • ">
  • MBA or equivalent business qualifications. Scientific or healthcare qualifications, preferably to a minimum of a bachelor's degree.">
  • Previous success in a commercial setting, preferably in a related industry.">
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive productivity and growth.">
  • Exceptional leadership skills within complex, multi-disciplinary teams, with a track record of leading through change.">
  • Experience in healthcare, pathology, genetic testing, academic research, or related fields.">
  • No CEO experience required.">
