Job Title: Strategic Learning Leader

We are seeking a dynamic educator to fill the pivotal role of Strategic Learning Leader, combining visionary leadership with teaching expertise to embed inclusive practices at a whole-school and classroom level.

This senior position will commence in Term 1, 2026.

The college is an independent co-educational institution located in the northeast of Melbourne on 98 acres.

About the Role

The Strategic Learning Leader leads the design and delivery of inclusive learning across the college from Prep to Year 12, ensuring students requiring additional support or enrichment are identified, supported, and empowered.

With responsibility for Gifted and Talented education, English as an Additional Language (EAL), and learning support, the leader champions equitable access and provides oversight of compliance processes.

A teaching allocation allows the Strategic Learning Leader to remain connected to students, model best practice, and engage directly with staff, families, and learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage student support services
  • Provide expertise in learning diversity, differentiation, and UDL
  • Advocate for students and their families

You are a seasoned educator with a commitment to inclusion, equity, and student voice. With experience in leading student support services, you bring deep knowledge of learning diversity, differentiation, and compliance requirements.

Essential qualities include:

  • Strategic leadership and team management
  • Expertise in inclusive education, differentiation, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
  • Knowledge of special needs, gifted education, and EAL strategies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and advocacy skills
