Job Title
The Head of Informatics will lead the development and delivery of enterprise-wide IT strategies, systems, and capabilities.
About the Role
This senior leadership position will provide authoritative advice on IT strategy and operations, working closely with executive leaders to shape and implement technology solutions that support the organisation's evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and grow a high-performing IT team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Oversee corporate IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, and support services for reliability and scalability.
Implement robust cybersecurity measures and promote a proactive security culture across the organisation.
Maintain and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans, reporting to executive leadership and audit committees.
Requirements
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic IT plans aligned with organisational priorities.
Extensive knowledge of ICT infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
Experience applying Victorian Government ICT governance, procurement, and compliance frameworks.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing, collaborative teams.
Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate trends and deliver innovative solutions.
Skilled in navigating complex environments, managing competing priorities, and influencing stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to lead strategic planning and deliver impactful outcomes.
Commercial acumen with experience in business case development, contract management, and risk mitigation.
