Business Intelligence Analyst Role

About the Position:

This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension, leading a team to provide strategic insights and analytical analysis to inform senior management decisions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate data collection and insights across the workers' compensation scheme to measure business performance, identify areas for improvement, and perform in-depth analytical analysis on data.
  • Collaborate with Business Optimisation teams to understand executive reporting requirements and provide relevant business insights to support reporting.
  • Interpret data/information across the workers' compensation scheme to identify areas for improvement, conduct complex analytical analysis on data provided by the data analytics team, and derive actions for senior management to enhance performance.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify initiatives addressing performance gaps in line with Return to Work and Support (RTW&S) strategic objectives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry combined with expertise in balancing commercial goals with regulatory demands.
  • Previous experience in delivering actionable business insights through data analysis and trend interpretation to inform business strategy and future growth plans.
