Job Description

This challenging and rewarding role involves leading a team of educators in delivering high-quality early learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

You will work closely with your team to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs that align with the Guardian Curriculum. Your expertise and knowledge will be invaluable in supporting the development of innovative practices that reflect current early years thinking and research.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will also be involved in mentoring and coaching other educators to enhance their skills and confidence. Your passion for education and commitment to excellence will be evident in everything you do, from lesson planning to parent-teacher communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A completed Certificate III and/or Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards)
  • Prior experience in long day-care
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
  • Current Working with Children's Check
