Cloud System Support Specialist

As a Cloud System Support Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer support and expertise to our global customers leveraging Ubuntu and open source products. You will investigate issues reported by customers, research and escalate problems, and resolve complex customer issues related to Canonical's portfolio of products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical fields, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate customer issues, researching and escalating as necessary
  • Work with customers to resolve complex technical problems related to Canonical's portfolio of products
  • Ensure that all support cases are handled according to our Service Level Agreement (SLA) with high customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Professional English language skills with excellent presentation and written communication abilities
  • Strong academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field or alternative chosen path
  • Hands-on experience in supporting Linux systems, including virtualization/cloud, containers, and storage technologies
