Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead and mentor production teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing end-to-end production and warehouse operations, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor production teams to deliver on-time, high-quality outcomes while managing production schedules, labor planning, and warehouse operations through the ERP system.
  • Oversee both high-volume production and high-mix, low-volume bespoke assemblies, ensuring staff are supported with clear work instructions and training.
  • Champion continuous improvement through Lean tools such as 5S, visual work instructions, and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering on new product onboarding and production cells.
  • Maintain a strong safety culture, foster team morale, and contribute to strategic planning and operational growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in leading teams across large-scale production runs and small-batch, complex assemblies.
  • Able to estimate production costs, manage warehouse operations, and drive process improvements.
  • Adaptable at applying ERP and scheduling systems to coordinate multiple concurrent jobs.
  • Solid technical background, either electrical or mechanical, with experience in moulding, electrical assembly, or tube processing considered beneficial.
  • Capability in monitoring production rates and efficiencies, managing DIFOT performance, and supporting the transition from paper-based work orders to more automated systems.
