About the Position

The Senior Investment Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing the development and maintenance of high-quality risk models and analytics to monitor, stress, and inform investment risk taking.

Key responsibilities include conducting portfolio risk mapping, stress testing, scenario testing, and contributing to risk playbooks. The successful candidate will work closely with the Portfolio Design team to develop and maintain ex-ante risk models for a multi-asset fund.

You will also be responsible for developing capital market assumptions, conducting portfolio stress testing, scenario modelling, and liquidity/cash flow modelling. Additionally, you will assist with customised risk dashboards for Investment Options and research volatility, correlations, and return distributions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining a long-term risk budgeting model
  • Conducting portfolio stress testing and scenario modelling
  • Developing capital market assumptions
  • Assisting with risk overlay trades to manage near-term exposure
  • Researching volatility, correlations, and return distributions

About You/Qualifications

  • Strong experience in an investment risk role with working knowledge of investment risk management related to portfolio positioning
  • Solid understanding of different asset classes and how economic data and policies influence financial markets
  • Technical skills: Python, Matlab, R, Excel, Visual Basic (or equivalent)
