About the Role

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality nursing care and will be motivated by the prospect of working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre and post-operative care, patient assessments, wound care, medication administration, and supporting recovery and discharge planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.
  • Work closely with a skilled Multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive pre and post-operative care, patient assessments, wound care, medication administration, and supporting recovery and discharge planning.
Requirements
  • Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical skill as a Registered Nurse (including completion of a new graduate year or equivalent experience working as a registered Nurse).
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
