About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Front Office Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing room allocations, and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting Guests: Welcome all incoming and outgoing guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Room Allocations: Accurately allocate rooms based on guest requirements and preferences.
  • Check-In and Check-Out: Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and effectively.
  • Phone Calls: Manage phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
  • Directing Guests: Direct guests to their rooms and provide clear instructions on resort facilities and services.
  • Maintenance of Guest Accounts: Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, billing arrangements, and payments.
  • Follow In-House Policies: Adhere to in-house policies and procedures to maintain guest security.
  • General Enquiries: Assist guests with general enquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Skills: Exceptional time management skills and high levels of customer service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role in a large hotel or resort environment.
  • Daily Cashiering Procedures: Demonstrated experience in daily cashiering procedures and credit card reconciliation.
  • Property Management Systems: Familiarity with property management systems.
  • People Management Skills: Demonstrated people management skills and an understanding of cultural diversity.
