About the Role

The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Principal to join our team. As a key member of the school leadership team, you will be responsible for providing educational leadership and management in the Early Years area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide instructional and curriculum leadership in the Early Years area, under the direction of the Principal.
  • Develop and promote the school vision, and establish strong relationships with students, staff, and the community.
  • Manage and lead Early Years staff and students, ensuring a high level of educational outcomes for all students.
  • Collaborate with the Principal and Executive Team to develop and implement school policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the effective management of physical and financial resources, and staff.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia.
  • A valid Working With Children Check.
  • A National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
  • Consent to a National Criminal History Check.
  • Experience in educational leadership and management, particularly in the Early Years area.
  • High level of interpersonal and public relations skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Demonstrated professional knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure a high level of educational outcomes for all students.
