Role Description/Criteria

DEPUTY PRINCIPAL (Staff Development and Culture) -  Category B, commencing Term 1 2025

With the opening of our new STEM Centre in Term 4 and exciting developments across the College, we are seeking a passionate and experienced educator for the NEW role of Deputy Principal (Staff Development and Culture) to lead, motivate, and challenge our staff in fostering a positive, collaborative culture focused on the growth and wellbeing of both staff and students.

This pivotal role will focus on building professional development initiatives, promoting staff wellbeing, and upholding the Catholic mission and identity of the school. The Deputy Principal will work closely with the Principal and Leadership Team to drive professional excellence while nurturing a culture of care, growth, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of a high-performing, positive school culture
  • Implement strategic staff development initiatives aligned with best pedagogical practices
  • Foster staff collaboration and continuous professional growth
  • Support the wellbeing of both staff and students through the Pastoral Care Program
  • Promote a collaborative culture within the College, where staff can share knowledge and ideas

The position will commence at the beginning of the 2025 school year and will hold a full-time ongoing teaching role on appointment, with a leadership tenure of 3 years.
