About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Steward to join our Food and Beverage team at The Star Brisbane. As a Steward, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our Food and Beverage outlets, both front and back of house.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the use and storage of chemicals in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure waste materials are properly recycled and disposed of.
  • Maintain and operate operational equipment, including dishwashers, utensils, and glassware.
  • Assist in setting up and preparing for events and banquets.
Requirements
  • A can-do team attitude, with a strong commitment to upholding our company values.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety regulations, with the ability to learn and adapt.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including early mornings and overnight shifts.
  • Self-motivation and flexibility to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain a high level of focus.
