Job Title

This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary leader who will spearhead the development of innovation and engagement programs, advocacy, and senior stakeholder relations. The General Manager leads the day-to-day running of the Association, reports directly to the Board of Directors, and is responsible for delivering the strategic vision for the organisation.

The role requires an impactful, commercially focused leader with an engaging personal style who can connect and influence complex stakeholder groups. You will leverage your experience in innovation, planning, and development to drive positive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influencing change through coordinating innovation and engagement programs, advocacy, and senior stakeholder relations
  • Delivering the strategic vision for the organisation
  • Leading the day-to-day running of the Association

Essential Skills:

  • Advanced stakeholder management skills - ability to build trusting relationships across diverse and senior stakeholders in business, government, and research
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to present with authority and create clear written communications for members
  • Flexibility, independence, and resilience, with the ability to manage diverse parallel programs
