Job Title: Cyber Security Application Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Application Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in managing and overseeing the delivery of security application services.

About the Role:
  • This role involves establishing and managing the Managed Services Practice within the security application space.
  • You will be responsible for providing oversight and recommendations for the Security Applications operations and technologies used by all Managed Services Customers.
  • Ensuring best practice design, implementation, and management of security applications are met by teams delivering solutions is also a key responsibility.
  • You will be accountable for end-to-end delivery of Security Services, from creation to ensuring alignment with service commitments.
Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and manage the Managed Services Practice within the security application space.
  2. Provide oversight and recommendations for the Security Applications operations and technologies used by all Managed Services Customers.
  3. Ensure best practice design, implementation, and management of security applications are met by teams delivering solutions.
  4. Accountable for end-to-end delivery of Security Services, from creation to ensuring alignment with service commitments.
  5. Serve as the key liaison between vendors, customers, and internal delivery teams—driving collaboration.
  6. Identify service delivery gaps against expectations and proactively align and attach relevant service catalogue offerings based on customers' licensing requirements.
  7. Work with the Cloud & Security Practice Lead to productise security application offerings and determine how these are delivered within our operational departments.
  8. Support sales with RFP responses and embed a security-first approach into all deliverables—driving improvements.
  9. Generate new opportunities and billable work within the security application space by focusing on proactive activities, developing new services, and extending existing services.
  10. Create and maintain guidelines and structure for technical documentation and knowledgebase (KB) articles while owning and contributing to knowledge.
  11. Work closely with Professional Services on defining and delivering guidelines, processes and documentation for the successful handover and on-boarding of security application solutions to Managed Services.
  12. Document and keep up to date guides and processes in Confluence on security application vendor details and escalation procedures.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a security application role or at least 10 years in an infrastructure or security role specialising in Cyber Security.
  • Current Azure Security Engineer or M365 Security Administrator certification.
  • Rapid7, CrowdStrike certifications and/or at least 2 other security application vendor related industry certs.
  • Industry experience working within the ITIL framework (ITIL certifications highly regarded).
