Cyber Security Specialist
We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in protecting our systems and data from cyber threats.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing Access Controls: Develop and implement user access controls and identity and access management systems to ensure secure access to our systems and data.
- Monitoring Network Performance: Monitor network and application performance to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Auditing and Compliance: Perform regular audits to ensure that our security practices are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Endpoint Detection and Prevention: Deploy endpoint detection and prevention tools to detect and prevent malicious activity on our systems.
- Patch Management: Implement patch management systems to update applications automatically and reduce the risk of vulnerabilities.
- Vulnerability Management: Implement comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all assets on-premises and in the cloud.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Collaborate with IT operations to develop a shared disaster recovery/business continuity plan.
- Employee Education: Work with HR and/or team leads to educate employees on how to identify and report suspicious activity.
