Community Fund Grants Officer

This is a great opportunity to join our team and make a significant contribution to the lives of people in East Suffolk.

  • About the Role
  • We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively with a range of organisations to deliver our grant making programme.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management of grants, advising applicant organisations, and supporting the distribution of funds to voluntary and community groups across East Suffolk.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the county and its charitable organisations.
  • Key Skills and Qualifications
  • A good communicator with experience of working with the Voluntary, Charity, Faith and Social Enterprise sector would be advantageous.
  • Able to inspire community organisations to apply to the fund, no idea is too big or too small.
  • Passionate about making a difference for East Suffolk's diversity and communities.
  • A great colleague and member of a small team, prepared to travel across the county at times and work occasionally in the evening or at weekends.
