Project Manager

We\'re looking for a driven and proactive individual to take the lead on three transformative projects within ESNEFT: Tendring 100 Project, Colchester Apprenticeships Project, and King\'s Trust Initiative. This fixed term role is a fantastic opportunity to deliver impactful change while working alongside senior leaders. You\'ll gain hands-on experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating projects, line manage team members, and develop leadership skills in a supportive environment. • Consistent provision of higher level comprehensive project management and administrative support.
• Undertake the management of projects.
• Responsible for a defined area of work.
• Manage, prioritise, plan and organise own time and co-ordinate that of your team and external partners if appropriate, using extensive knowledge, skills and experience.
• Provide leadership that encourages high performance from other staff within your team and external partners with the aim of maintaining optimum efficiency within the projects you are working on.
• Train and provide support/line management to enable other team members and partners to deliver against project objectives.

Qualifications

Essential

• GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
• Project management qualification or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience to degree level

Experience

Essential

• Previous project management experience
• Working collaboratively as part of a team
• Experience of communicating with a range of people both within and external to the organisation
• Experience of dealing with non-routine administrative matters
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Highly effective written skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines

Desirable

• Experience of working within the Apprenticeship industry
• Experience of working with members of the public
• Supervision/co-ordination of other team members

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

• Confidentiality and Data Protection
• Project Management; understanding of employability and training programmes, including apprenticeships
• Knowledge of relevant work area and specialist terminology
• Data management and reporting methodologies
• Microsoft Word/Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service

Desirable

• Knowledge of Apprenticeship levy utilisation
• Good working knowledge of NHS careers and how to access further information
