We\'re looking for a driven and proactive individual to take the lead on three transformative projects within ESNEFT: Tendring 100 Project, Colchester Apprenticeships Project, and King\'s Trust Initiative. This fixed term role is a fantastic opportunity to deliver impactful change while working alongside senior leaders. You\'ll gain hands-on experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating projects, line manage team members, and develop leadership skills in a supportive environment. Main duties- Consistent provision of higher level comprehensive project management and administrative support.
- Undertake the management of projects.
- Responsible for a defined area of work.
- Manage, prioritise, plan and organise own time and co-ordinate that of your team and external partners if appropriate, using extensive knowledge, skills and experience.
- Provide leadership that encourages high performance from other staff within your team and external partners with the aim of maintaining optimum efficiency within the projects you are working on.
- Train and provide support/line management to enable other team members and partners to deliver against project objectives.

- GCSE grade 5/C or equivalent in English and Maths
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience to degree level

- Previous project management experience
- Working collaboratively as part of a team
- Experience of communicating with a range of people both within and external to the organisation
- Experience of dealing with non-routine administrative matters
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Highly effective written skills
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
Desirable
- Experience of working within the Apprenticeship industry
- Experience of working with members of the public
- Supervision/co-ordination of other team members
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
- Confidentiality and Data Protection
- Project Management; understanding of employability and training programmes, including apprenticeships
- Knowledge of relevant work area and specialist terminology
- Data management and reporting methodologies
- Microsoft Word/Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
Desirable
- Knowledge of Apprenticeship levy utilisation
- Good working knowledge of NHS careers and how to access further information
