We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Far West Local Health District. This role will involve providing high-quality assessment and treatment services to patients, including outreach to towns.
About the PositionThis is a permanent full-time position based in Broken Hill. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor or postgraduate Speech Pathology degree eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual or group speech pathology assessment and treatment services face-to-face or virtually, focusing on Paediatric (0-17yo) clients.
- Bachelor or postgraduate Speech Pathology degree eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills in paediatric and broader service provision.
- Ability to plan, advocate for and coordinate client care within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and sharing expertise with colleagues.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients and families to improve outcomes.
- Knowledge of quality improvement processes.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with relevant software.
- Valid unrestricted driver's licence for NSW/Australia.
