The role of the SME - Cloud involves maintaining information about problems and workarounds related to their area of responsibility, reducing incidents over time through technology updates, upgrades, and new implementations.

This position acts as the onshore customer governance interface for Cloud and Orchestration related matters, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and NOKIA service delivery teams. It leads technology innovation for the domain, driving recommendations for automation and service improvements.

The SME - Cloud is responsible for being an escalation point for problem resolution across the Cloud and Orchestration domain, ensuring necessary reports are delivered in a timely fashion. This role closely works with offshore Service Delivery teams to ensure quality of Known Error records and Knowledge Database.

Key responsibilities include conducting Post Resolution Reviews of critical problems and supporting follow-up activities, building awareness of the Problem Control Process across engaged parties, leading reviews of customer projects, network capacity analysis, and expansion plans.

The SME - Cloud implements in-scope software, firmware, security patch/updates, and maintains up-to-date documentation of standard technical procedures. This role performs due diligence on up-scope works including estimation of effort.

">Requirements">
  • Experience working with VMWare vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T, and VIO
  • Experience working with OpenStack platforms, services, and commands
  • Experience with OpenStack SDN, including Open vSwitch and vxlan
  • Experience working with Cloud Native Networking (CNI, Calico) and Service Mesh (Istio)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in technology management or a comparable discipline within the virtualisation technology space
  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills
  • Proven track record of successful matrix management of technical teams
  • Good to excellent command of English
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple high-priority efforts and competing priorities
  • Experience managing vendors, KPIs, and SLAs
  • Ability to relate to technology and have fast adoption skills
  • Strong experience with IT service desk, networks, datacentres, infrastructure & operations
  • Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently and well in groups
