About This Role

This position oversees the Feedlot business in Australia, focusing on key account management, sales, marketing and growth strategies. The primary species will be cattle raised in feedlots. Marketing efforts will cover the company's portfolio in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for Ruminant Feedlot sales and marketing;
  • Establish and manage relationships with key distributors, integrators, influencers, consultants and end-users in the region;
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, launches, advertising and promotions across the business;
  • Create a feedlot strategy and implementation plan;
  • Achieve set targets for sales, gross margin and operational expenses;
  • Bolster momentum in the company's animal health business in the feedlot segment, and develop marketing materials;
  • Engage with customers and end-users to deliver the company message;
  • Buildd a network of resources to support key products;
  • Promote the company at trade shows and industry events.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of nutrition and biological functions in ruminants;
  • Relevant degree in veterinary health or nutrition;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of feedlot diseases;
  • Solid understanding of feedlot production systems;
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments;
  • Conversance with current trends in feedlot production;
  • Key account management and selling skills;
  • Marketing expertise.
