About the Role

The GM Store Cluster Leader will be responsible for leading a cluster of stores, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This is a high-profile role that requires a strong leader with excellent stakeholder management skills, business acumen, and the ability to drive change and inspire teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a cluster of stores, driving business growth and profitability through effective management of financials, merchandise, and marketing programs.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve store performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business compliance, operational excellence, and best practice initiatives.
  • Empower and inspire teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, driving customer loyalty and retention.
  • Manage key financial indicators, including P&L, margin, and cost control, to maximize profitability.
  • Present to the Group Board on KPIs, results, strategic plans, and governance, ensuring alignment with national strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail leadership, ideally at Store General Manager, Senior Store Manager, or Multi-site/Cluster Manager level.
  • Strong stakeholder and relationships management skills, with the ability to influence, deliver, and drive outcomes.
  • Leadership ability, inspiring teams and driving change with ease.
  • Sound business acumen, with experience managing significant P&Ls and understanding financial levers.
  • Brilliant communication skills, with the ability to translate vision into day-to-day operational performance.
  • Strong exposure to market influences and knowledge of demographics, competitor activity, and environmental factors.
  • Authentic and down-to-earth approach, with a non-hierarchical mindset and a willingness to get hands dirty.
  • Customer-centric approach, with people and customer at the core of everything.
