Job Description:
Senior Water Resources EngineerWe are seeking an experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to provide consultancy and technical services to deliver high-quality results in the water resources sector. Your impact will be felt through providing expert advice on water resources projects, supporting business development activities, conducting risk assessments, and assessing water infrastructure.

About The Role:
You will work closely with clients to deliver strategic solutions for water management plans, flood studies, surface water impact assessments, watercourse diversion design, monitoring, and rehabilitation, as well as erosion and sediment control.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in water resources engineering, including hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, water balance modelling, and local standards and statutory requirements.
  • Business Development: Support business growth by developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely and budget-friendly outcomes.

About You:
We require a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer with a minimum of 6+ years' experience in a consultancy environment. Ideally, you hold a relevant tertiary Engineering degree (Civil, Environmental), and have demonstrated ability to build relationships and develop business.
  • Degree: Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Registration: CPENG and/or RPEQ registration desirable
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a good attitude to mentoring junior staff.
