The Role

This versatile role focuses on providing level 2 technical support to customers, answering support calls and emails, and troubleshooting technical problems. In addition to customer support, this role will also assist with various business functions including technical sales, marketing, and product development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely assistance to customers requiring technical help and ensure their support requests are resolved efficiently.
  • Develop documentation, guides, and FAQs to minimize future support requests.
  • Create professional standard technical briefs for internal and external customers.
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Deliver technical training to customers and team members.
  • Evaluate products for quality assurance purposes.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant technical field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working across multiple IT departments.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a direct customer-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware, networking, databases, software design, and integrations.
  • Experience working with virtualization technologies.
  • Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills and ability to think laterally.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Documented evidence of technical writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Engaged team player able to collaborate across multiple time zones and deliver under pressure.
