Job Description

A Cloud Infrastructure Specialist is required to join the engineering team at Hydrogen Group for a 6-month project.

About the Role
  • Develop, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
  • Deploy and debug cloud stacks, educate teams on new cloud features.
Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining secure and reliable cloud infrastructure.
  • Testing and implementing cloud-based services.
  • Identifying, defining, and communicating specific tasks related to Cloud Migration solutions.
  • Developing and delivering various components of Cloud Migration solutions.
  • Optimizing architecture and infrastructure of various cloud providers.
  • Providing support for security policies and procedures.
  • Safeguarding code quality and maintaining code integrity.
  • Providing technical leadership to the team.
  • Deploying solutions to all environment levels, including production.
  • Participating in technical workshops with end customers regarding Solution design and implementation.
  • Creating technical documentation, such as installation/configuration/maintenance procedures.
  • Communicating progress, issues, and identified risks daily.
  • Maintaining and acquiring required skills as products and assignments evolve.
  • Expanding knowledge into other Cloud and/or hybrid solutions.
Essential Experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years working in similar roles with Azure.
  • Highly experienced in Azure Services, with skills in Ansible, CI/CD, Python, Django, and Terraform.
  • Infrastructure as Code expertise.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux (primarily Red Hat), Citrix.
  • CI/CD serverless or on-prem processes.
  • Cloud Migration and Multi-Cloud Deployment.
  • Languages: Python, TypeScript/Javascript.
  • Containerization and Virtualization.
  • Cloud-based networking, web services, and APIs.
  • Solid understanding of current Cloud trends.
Requirements
  • Ability to operate autonomously.
  • Capacity to transition from on-premise network solutions to Cloud solutions.
  • Able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate high confidence in the organization's solution and activities, challenging customer needs.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
