Environmental Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Planner to join our Melbourne-based Planning and Environmental Approvals team. As an Environmental Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting the technical delivery and project management of projects within our Melbourne team.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake technical assessments to support the delivery of a range of projects, working collaboratively with a range of disciplines.
- Conduct planning assessments, including desktop assessment, site visits, and reporting, as required.
- Assist with writing proposals and supporting the development of project plans.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver complex and technically challenging projects.
- Tertiary qualification in planning, environmental science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in preparing planning applications and reports.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Business acumen and the ability to understand the commercial aspects of projects.
